Speech Services Resume at RiverView’s Rehab Services-Red Lake Falls Location
Services are ramping up at RiverView Health's Rehab Services-Red Lake Falls.
Speech services are now available for all ages with Mikala Johnson, CF-SLP, who recently joined RiverView's Rehab Services Team. Johnson specializes in services for adults but also enjoys working with children.
Stacy Spray, OTR/L, offers occupational therapy services in the RiverView Clinic-Red Lake Falls location. Ashley Leines, DPT, and Rhonda Salentiny, MPT, provide physical therapy services.
"We are excited to be resuming comprehensive therapy services at our Red Lake Falls clinic," shared Rehab Services Director Caitlyn Michno. "The return of speech and growth of our occupational and physical therapies will allow us to better meet the needs of the community.
"Our Red Lakes Falls' therapists are excellent general practice providers, and they also specialize in certain areas of practice, like dysphagia, cognition/memory loss, interoception, pediatric services, post-concussion assessment and recovery, vertigo, and postural restoration. It truly is a great therapy team."
Free developmental screenings are also available in Red Lake Falls for children from birth to age five to ensure they are establishing a solid foundation.
A screening is a simple appointment to identify infants and young children at risk for potential health, developmental, or social-emotional problems. Screening helps identify children who need more evaluation and addresses concerns early before they become more significant.
