Jayde Sandberg is the Employee of the Month of March
The decision to name Jayde Sandberg RiverView Health’s most recent Employee of the Month was made easy through praises in nominations from her Home Care colleagues and the fact that clients consistently recognize her for putting them at ease and going above and beyond for their needs.
Sandberg began working as an LPN in RiverView’s former Memory Care Unit in 2018. She transferred to Home Care and received her RN degree in 2021.
A long-time resident of Red Lake Falls, she and her significant other, Jeremy, have two children and a third due in July. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, reading, and ice fishing.
Of her recent honor, she stated, “I’m humbled by receiving employee of the month and it’s a great feeling to be recognized. It made my heart happy, that’s for sure!’’
The following comments were taken from nominations in Jayde’s honor: Jayde’s attention to detail is impeccable. She works hard for her clients going above and beyond to make them feel seen, heard, and cared for. Jayde is a calm, quiet, dependable nurse and a huge asset to our Home Health Team. Her nursing judgement is very sound. She is well respected by clients and colleagues. Time and time again Jayde is recognized by our clients and their caregivers for the work she does to make a difference and improve their lives. I’m proud to work with Jayde and value her input and the knowledge she brings to our team.
Jayde has consistently demonstrated dedication, professionalism and follows RiverView's Standards of Behavior that contributes to our team's success. She is a leader by example. When changes are implemented, she picks up on these changes and adapts to them quickly. We use her consistent precise documentation as examples for others on how to meet the regulations and changes and go to her for advice on how to help others. She strives for excellence every day.
She takes pride in her job and it shows through her precise, consistent documentation and the care she provides to her clients. She is dedicated and works hard to help this department reach its goals along with helping with client satisfaction through her calm, caring, compassionate care she delivers. We are lucky to have her on our team!
From the day she started orientation to now, I have watched Jayde evolve from a brand new RN coming into Home Care into a confident, self-sufficient and independent Home Care nurse. She isn't afraid to ask questions, always digging deeper whether it's in regards to an abnormal patient assessment or chart review rationale or whatever the case may be.
That's one of the things I admire about her is that her desire to continue to gain knowledge is obvious. She stays up to date with her yearly education and is eager for new learning opportunities when they come about. She is willing to take on new responsibilities such as presenting on educational topics at meetings or being involved with PIPs...She doesn’t show up to work to get the job done, she comes to work each day to do a good job.
