Mother Nature and the generosity of sponsors, donors, and golfers made for an exceptional 19th Annual RiverView Foundation Golf Classic on Monday, June 10!

Congratulations to the Vaaler Insurance/Garden Valley Technologies team on a first-place finish. Jen Marben and Andy Vaaler played for Vaaler, while Brian Grunhovd and Matt Derosier represented Garden Valley. The Vaaler team was also part of the 2023 championship team.

According to Foundation Director Randy Schoenborn, more than $27,500 was raised through the event to purchase automated medication equipment for the Surgical Services Department and to fund several children's initiatives.

Major sponsors of the event were Glen and Marlys Finkenbinder, Dr. Brennen and Catrina Smith, Mindak Law, Consulting Radiologists, Garden Valley Technologies, USI Insurance Services, Hugo's Family Marketplace, New Horizon Foods, CL Linfoot Company, Lunseth Plumbing and Heating, Magnet Solutions/ARS, and the Felhaber Larson Foundation.

"Each year, I am amazed by the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and players, both past and new," Schoenborn stated. "Their contributions make a significant impact for RiverView and aid in improving the level of care we provide.

"With community support, the Foundation has raised close to $458,000 in the Classic's history, funding many priority patient-focused initiatives. Our patients will continue to receive the personal care they have grown to trust and appreciate in the comfortable, homelike environment they deserve thanks to the generosity of these sponsors and participants."
