Giving Hearts Day

The RiverView Foundation is preparing for Giving Hearts Day 2026 on Feb. 12. The Foundation has participated in the annual non-profit fundraiser since its inception 19 years ago.

Over those years, hundreds of donors have rallied to support RiverView's promise of providing exceptional care for exceptional outcomes by giving over $2.9 million!

Giving Hearts Day, considered the "Super Bowl of giving" for area non-profits, started with a simple yet unique fundraising concept; every year around Valentine's Day, generous donors are asked to support RiverView Health so we can continue to offer quality healthcare in our region.

Giving Hearts Day contributions help RiverView Health sustain and launch meaningful projects and programs. Below are a few highlights from recent years:

  • 2022: $190,000+ raised for a new automated medication dispensing system and a portable ER ultrasound
  • 2023: $211,000+ raised for new lab equipment
  • 2024: $172,000+ raised for new surgical sterilizers and system-wide updates
  • 2025: $190,000+ raised for a new IV infusion system and additional improvements

These successes show that our generous donors believe in the importance of quality health care in Crookston and the region.

The RiverView Foundation Board has determined that undesignated 2026 Giving Hearts Day contributions will assist in the cost of the Immunoassay (IA) Chemistry and Blood Culture Incubator Replacement Projects, along with rural healthcare services in our region.

Please consider donating to the RiverView Foundation on Feb. 12, Giving Hearts Day 2026. Your belief and trust in our mission will make a positive difference in the future health and vitality of our rural region.
