RiverView Health is excited to welcome Vinita Parikh, MD, to its medical staff. Dr. Parikh is an interventional pain management specialist as well as an anesthesiologist. Her RiverView practice will focus on pain management.

“Interventional pain management is a great field because there is such a span of different patient populations to help,’’ she shared.

From helping patients with back pain to working with patients interested in regenerative medicine, Dr. Parikh is eager to help individuals regain the quality of life they deserve.

“The goal is to get patients to be more functional with less pain so they can continue what they enjoy doing….I am honored to assist patients to reduce their pain so they can enjoy their time with their families and continue doing activities that are important to them.’’

A Grand Forks native, Dr. Parikh graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, NE, and completed her residency at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL. She completed an Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship through the Cornell Tri-Institutional Program, New York City, NY.

Dr. Parikh will offer services at RiverView clinics in Crookston and East Grand Forks.
