Lindsey Ebertowski Named Employee of the Month at RiverView

RiverView Physical Therapist (PT) Lindsey Ebertowski earned high praise when she stepped in as interim director of RiverView’s Rehab Services Department for a stint in 2020 while Director Crystal Maruska was on maternity leave. Lindsey’s strong leadership skills helped her lead the department through months of the pandemic and earned her the Employee of the Month honor for July 2020.
Lindsey joined RiverView’s Rehab Services Team in 2012. In addition to her PT workload, she is also the coordinator of that team. A graduate of MSUM, Moorhead, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UND in 2012.
A native of Fertile, Lindsey, and husband Joe have two children: Elijah, 3; and Asher, 1; and pup Ella, 8. The family lives in Grand Forks. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys spending time at the lake, traveling, running, reading, UND hockey, concerts, and “loving on my kiddos’’, she shared.
“I am very honored to be awarded Employee of the Month. I am passionate about the PT profession and helping patients lead a more functional or higher quality of life. I am blessed to be part of RiverView’s therapy department with many highly experienced, driven, and caring therapists. I enjoy RiverView’s continued push for excellence and providing patient-focused care.’’
The following comments were made in Lindsey’s honor: Lindsey is a great leader. For a portion of 2020, she served as interim director while continuing a physical therapy caseload. During her interim role, there were many staff changes and schedule adjustments due to COVID and docking. She was proactive with the schedule and planned ahead. She communicated very well. When staff had questions about workflow and changes due to COVID, she responded quickly and respectfully. If she didn’t know the answer, she would reach out to the person who did. If a document such as a standard work needed to be developed, she would do it. Throughout the many added tasks to her day, she paused whatever she was doing to listen to staff. She is kind and respectful and a great person to be around.
Lindsey is modest and humble. She is not one to boast about her hard work and determination. She has gone above and beyond for RiverView and her Rehab Team. We appreciate you, Lindsey!
