Diana Padilla-Jimenez is Named Employee of the Month

Kind, genuine, and sincere; those are all words used in nominations for RiverView’s latest Employee of the Month (EOM), Diana Padilla-Jimenez. Diana then took those words and many others to write a page of thank you notes to everyone who helped her along the way, once again proving why she makes a great EOM.
After starting at RiverView seven years ago as an aide in Environmental Services, today, Diana is a Supply Chain tech. A native of Chicago, IL, Diana and her family live in Beltrami. She and her husband Miguel have been together for 28 years. Miguel works as a houseperson in RiverView’s Environmental Services Department. They have two sons, Miguel Jr. (25), a registered volunteer at RiverView, and Jacob (23). Diana counts her spiritual family from Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Crookston and around the world as part of her “humongous” family. She lists Best Life Ever at JW.ORG as her interests/hobbies.
The following is just a portion of those she’d like to thank for her recent honor: “First, I want to thank the one that deserves all the honor, Jehovah God. Second, with all my heart, I want to say thank you to my grandmother Diana for striving to work hard each and every day and leading by example spiritually by helping me with principles, moral guidance, to seek, love, respect, apply, and listen to the discipline that Jehovah God gives us all. Third, to always love our neighbors. Fourth, I feel humble and want to give a big thank you and hug to Mario (Gomez, director of Supply Chain), an awesome boss, and Annie (Waldal, director of IPU and ED), a remarkable person, for nominating me…Thank you to all my team in Supply Chain for welcoming me in your department with arms wide open. I want to thank my whole RiverView work family for always showing me your love, kindness, care, warm smiles, help, and for everything. We all have accomplished so much together.”
The following are comments taken from nominations in Diana’s honor: “Diana Padilla, thank you for bringing a smile to everyone in Supply Chain and RiverView Health Teams. It always boosts our spirits when we need it the most. Your consistent positive attitude has made a huge difference both directly and indirectly. Thank you for always being the first to volunteer a helping hand. Diana, we want you to know that having you on our team makes all the difference. It’s rare to come across an individual who is so dedicated, loyal and trustworthy. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed.’’
“Diana consistently goes above and beyond by ensuring RiverView Health employees, patients and visitors feel supported and valued. Diana takes the time in her busy day to ask how we are doing and what can she do to help/assist in any way. Diana is genuine and sincere.
“Since the very first time I met Diana, I knew she was a very special person. Diana assists with supplies both on the IPU and ED. There isn’t a day that I interact with Diana that she is not upbeat, positive and professional. Diana is kind and welcoming to all those that interact with her. Often before leaving a department she will ask ‘is there anything else I can do for you.’ Diana demonstrates what customer service is all about. Diana is part of our team. She is kind and warm. She is famous on the IPU for greeting team members on pay day Fridays as ‘Happy Pay Day.’ Diana is just one of those people that make your day. RiverView should be proud of her and we are all blessed to have her on our team!’’
