National Skilled Nursing Care Week, formerly known as National Nursing Home Week, is one of the most important events of the year for nursing homes.
Held annually since 1967, National Skilled Nursing Care Week is an opportunity to recognize the role of skilled nursing care centers in caring for America’s seniors and individuals with disabilities.
“Sharing Our Wisdom” is the 2020 theme for the celebration, highlighting the insight, purpose, and wisdom to be learned from our seniors, those living with dementia, and people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
