We use the Work Well Systems, Inc. (formerly Isernhagen Work Systems) model of work injury prevention. We offer the Work Well Systems Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE), Functional Job Analysis (FJA) and the Prework Screens.

  • RiverView Health has been a Work Well System provider of Functional Capacity Evaluations, Functional Job Analyses, and Prework Screens since 1996. (our therapists have worked in the field of occupational health since the late '80's.)

  • We are a full-service OH provider: we use in house orthopaedic physicians or work closely with local physicians to coordinate medical services.

  • We currently perform Prework Screens for 9 companies in Northwest Minnesota and consult on-site regularly at 4 companies.

  • We are generally able to schedule and complete Prework Screens within 24 hours of contact.

  • In 2001, RHA's OH services completed 946 Prework Screens, and in 2002 969 were completed.

  • One company that has utilized RHA's OH services has experienced a 48% reduction in their new hire injuries, and a 67% reduction in overall recordable injuries.

  • Another company saw a savings of just under $72,000 in direct workers compensation costs, just in one job category alone. This employer used Prework Screens to assure the new hires or transfers were safe to do the jobs.

  • RHA's OH consulting services have provided services to companies up to 150 miles away.
