The Northwest Chemical Health Initiative provides recovery maintenance services to chemically dependent pregnant women and women with dependent children by:
- providing supportive services to facilitate treatment and continuing care
- creating new recovery maintenance activities
- arranging supports for participants to attain and sustain stability in their lives
- assisting in removing barriers to treatment and recovery.
Services provided by the Northwest Chemical Health Initiative include:
- child care and children's education group
- parenting education
- women's groups
- recovery maintenance activities
- chemical dependency support groups
- employment services
- transportation
- money management
- locating permanent housing
- supportive services needed to maintain a chemically free lifestyle.
