Dr. Bruce Ring is a board-certified internal medicine physician with added qualification in geriatrics. He has been practicing in Crookston since 1980. Dr. Ring attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for his undergraduate work and received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha in 1976. He joined Northwestern Clinic (currently Altru Clinic) in Crookston in 1980 and has been a member of the medical staff at Riverview Health since that time. Dr. Ring teaches Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is on the faculty at the University of North Dakota’s Physician Assistant School and Medical School. Dr. Ring is the medical director of the Riverview anesthesia department and the Riverview Nursing Home. He is married to Elisabeth, a physicians assistant, and they have 5 children.
