Dr. David Peterson, DPM, is a Crookston native who has been in the medical field for over twenty-five years as a podiatrist. Dr. Peterson specializes in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He received his medical education and Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. He did his internship and residency in 1972 with his father, Dr. Donald Peterson, DPM, who owned the Peterson Foot Clinic in Crookston, MN. Peterson Foot Clinic became affiliated with Northwestern Clinic in 1989, where he remained until August of 2003. He then left Altru to join RiverView Health in his own podiatry clinic. He also has clinic homes at RiverView Clinic in East Grand Forks, and at the Clearwater Clinic in Bagley. Dr. Peterson belongs to the American Podiatry Association and the Minnesota Podiatry Association.
