Dr. Ted Olson has been a critical part of the medical staff at RiverView for over twenty years, coming to the area in 1980. He began his practice in Crookston after completing his residency at hospitals affiliated with the University of North Dakota (UND) in Grand Forks and becoming board certified in internal medicine. He also received his medical degree from UND, after receiving a degree in chemistry from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minnesota. He sees patients in Altru's satellite clinics in Fertile and Erskine, as well as in Crookston. Dr. Olson has extensive experience in geriatrics, and in the clinical areas of cardiology, and pulmonology, acting as medical director for Riverview's cardiac rehabilitation program. He is also the medical director of the Sleep Disorders Program at Riverview, having special training in the diagnosis of sleep disorders.
