| Dr. Ron Dorman, a board certified family practice physician, was born in South Dakota and grew up in western North Dakota. After high school, he spent four years in the Navy and then attended college and medical school in Grand Forks at the University of North Dakota. He joined the Army after medical school and completed his internship and residency while in service. He served as a physician in the United States Army for three additional years before coming to Crookston in 1994. He is married to Janise and has three children; Alexandra, Robert and Benjamin.
His practice with Altru Clinic-Crookston includes seeing patients of all ages, and visiting Altru's satellite clinic in Erskine. He is the medical director of RiverView Home Health and Hospice, as well as working with occupational medicine and Glenmore Recovery Center at RiverView Health. He also manages the medical contract for services in Riverview's Emergency Room.
