On February 14th, RiverView Foundation will participate in the Dakota Medical Foundation (DMF) Giving Hearts Day Match Program. DMF will match, dollar for dollar, online contributions to the RiverView Health Foundation of $25 or more up to $5,000. The match funding through the Giving Hearts Day program is only available on February 14th (12:00 a.m. 11:59 p.m.). Donations must be made online by following the link on the riverviewhealth.org homepage.
In addition to the match grant, the three organizations that receive the most online contributions on Giving Hearts Day will be awarded additional grant funds up to $10,000.
Because Giving Hearts Day is on Valentine’s Day, donors will be able to make contributions in honor or memory of someone they care about. Donors will also be able to send an electronic card to someone special to let them know a donation was made.
“If you were planning on making a donation, it’s a great day to double your contribution,” said Kent Bruun, RiverView Foundation Director. The Foundation is currently wrapping up their Window of Opportunity fundraising project to replace inpatient hospital windows, with 25 windows yet to be purchased.
Donors may also contribute to Foundation scholarship funds, the third floor renovation project, or any of the other Foundation giving programs on Giving Hearts Day by contacting Kent Bruun at 218-281-9249.
