What You Receive

Health Insurance

Full-time and part time employees whose employment status requires them to work 24 hours per week or more

Riverview and the employee share premium: Employees pay a small portion of the premium for their individual coverage and the full premium for dependent coverage

Coverage takes effect on the first day of the month following thirty days of employment. Need to apply for coverage within 30 days of eligibility

Basic hospital and major medical health insurance coverage. Dependent health insurance coverage is also available.

Life Insurance

Full-Time Employees

After one year of full-time employment

Additional life insurance for accidental death or dismemberment is available at group rates. Dependent coverage also available.

Personal Family Accident Insurance

All employees who work 20 hours per week or more

After one year of employment of at least 20 hours per week

Life insurance for accidental death or dismemberment is available at group rates. Dependent coverage available.

Pension

All Employees

After 1000 hours per year, minimum age of 21 and one (1) full year of employment

Deposits are made to the employee's individual retirement account. Graduated vesting schedule. Employer matching funds available. Individual contributions available upon employment

Paid Time Off (P.T.O)

Accrued paid time off hours to be used at the employees discretion for vacation, holiday, personal leave, etc. Benefit hours are earned based on the number of hours an employee works and their years of service with Riverview. A full time employee would earn 21 days (168 hrs) for years 1-3 (up to 36 months), 26 days (208 hrs) starting at year 4-9 (37 - 108 months), 31 days (248 hrs) starting at year 10 and beyond (109 months plus).

Benefit hours are earned based on number of hours an employee works. Payment of accrued hours are made once an employee has used the specified number of consecutive hours based on their status.

Disability Insurance

Tax Deferred Annuity Programs

Three tax deferred annuity programs are available to you through payroll deductions. This allows you to "Shelter" a portion of your earnings from Federal and State taxes
