Tom Jorgens

Tom served as Chairman of the Board of Riverview for five years, but stepped down as chair in 2001. He has been a Board member for several additional years. He is president of MetaDynamics, Inc., a Crookston consulting company. Tom also serves as President of Applied Biofutures, a biotechnology ventures company based in Denver, Colorado. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, with undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics. He is active in a number of state and local organizations, and is the former Board Chair of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation. Tom and his wife, Michal, have two grown daughters, Gwen and Amber. "I decided to seek re-election to the Board to continue working on building a strong future for community based healthcare in our area.Healthcare is in the midst of great change and Riverview must adapt to these changes to continue to serve our customers effectively. That is a challenge I look forward to," said Jorgens.
