Shelly Bloom

Ms. Bloom is a medical social worker most recently employed at MedCenter One in Bismarck, North Dakota. Bloom attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and graduated with bachelors of Science degree in social work. “Healthcare is growing and changing so rapidly and I want to be a part of that growth,” said Ms Bloom. “I feel it is so important to insure that all citizens get excellent medical care and treatment, and I will make sure that is a priority of mine.” She was active in the Big Brother, Big Sister program for many years and has been a hospice volunteer for 13 years. She is a native of East Grand Forks and moved back to the area three years ago. Her husband, Kevin, is a manager at American Crystal Sugar in East Grand Forks and they have two young children; Jack, 5 and Macyn, 2.
