Dr. Bill Erickson was elected to Riverview's board of Directors in 2002. He is a local dentist who has worked and lived in the Crookston community since 1986, when he began in private dental practice. He is a native of Crosby-Ironton, Minnesota and received both his Bachelors degree in Biology and his Doctorate of Dental Science at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. Bill is active in the Dawn to Dusk Lions Club of Crookston and is the secretary of the Crookston School District #593 Education Foundation board of directors. He was also involved with the Community Hospice advisory board at Riverview for several years and is currently a member of the Minnesota Dental Association's public relations committee.
Erickson's wife, Ramona, is a registered nurse and is currently employed as a paraprofessional with Crookston Public Schools. They have two children who attend school in Crookston, a son, Bill, and a daughter, Jean. "I believe that it is very important that we have locally organized healthcare in Crookston," said Erickson, "and I am more than glad to be a part of it."
