Betty Arvidson is Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Crookston and has been a resident in the community for 12 years. She moved to Crookston from Red Lake Falls, where she was employed as the Deputy Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Red Lake Falls. She is a graduate of Bemidji State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business and has been working in the finance field for over 15 years. Betty is extremely active in civic organizations including the Noon Day Lions, Crookston Chamber of Commerce, Crookston Development Authority, her church and many others. “Having quality healthcare in rural Minnesota is a privilege for the citizens of Crookston and the surrounding area, one we should not take for granted,” stated Arvidson. “As a city official, I realize how important it is to provide quality healthcare to our citizens and neighbors, for the viability of our community. I am honored to have been asked to be a part of this great organization and will do my best to help insure the success of Riverview Healthcare Association,” Arvidson added. Betty is a native of Blackduck, Minnesota and she and her husband, Bruce, have two daughters.
