Andrew Svec is currently the Director of Communications, Public Relations and Marketing at the University of Minnesota Crookston. Originally from Lowry, Minnesota, Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communications from the University of Minnesota, Morris. He is a member of the Crookston Rotary Club and the Crookston Community Theater. "I believe that health care providers, much like higher education providers, play an important role in the vitality and sustainability of rural communities, "said Svec. "I also believe connections between institutions that provide health care and the communities they serve are essential. I look forward to learning more about RiverView Health and all the ways this organization serves, interacts with, and benefits Crookston and our region. "
