Learn how to Reverse Heart Disease at RiverView’s Aug. 10th Health Luncheon

Cardiovascular disease has been the number one killer of Americans since 1920, according to the American Heart Association (AHA). Chances are your great-grandparents or another member of your family tree probably died from heart disease.

Unfortunately, projections only show an increase in individuals suffering with the disease.  In 2011 the American Heart Association predicted that by 2030 upwards of 40 percent of the U.S. population – or more than 100 million Americans – would suffer from some form of heart disease. Disturbingly, that benchmark was reached in 2015, almost 15 years sooner than anticipated.  The AHA now predicts that by 2035 half of the U.S. population will have some form of heart disease. But you can prevent heart disease, or if you already suffer from cardiovascular disease you can reverse it.

If you are interested in heart health, RiverView Health’s Friday, Aug. 10th health luncheon “Reverse Heart Disease’’ is for you. Cardiologist Dr. Noah Chelliah will present on factors  that determine heart health and what you can do to make sure you are on the path to your best heart health.
